These classes are scheduled for Wednesdays
from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Mandatory and voluntary
participation services are available.
An individual plan is given to each parent
after the first two (2) sessions. Certificates are
presented to each parent when the sessions have been
successfully completed.
Due to the creativeness and
resourcefulness of the Parent facilitator, these classes have
been successful and parents call and return on a voluntary
basis.
FLIP
sessions were designed to assist parents to learn with their
children. Parents are invited to remain on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings and participate in academic sessions with
their children.
Each parent
requesting this service completes a parental contract.
Phonics and language skills are included in the curriculum.
